About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Commercial Officer to spearhead the transformation and scaling of one of its portfolio businesses in the aerospace and defense manufacturing sector. The successful candidate will be a dynamic leader with a strong commercial background, ideally having served as the top commercial leader in a large manufacturing company or as a senior commercial leader in a larger enterprise. A heavy sales orientation is essential, with experience spanning marketing, strategy, and operations. While not mandatory, a background in private equity and experience in M&A are considered advantageous. The role demands a passionate and committed individual with a proven track record of success, who can both honor the company's heritage and drive its future growth.

The Chief Commercial Officer will be instrumental in the company's integration and rebranding efforts, as well as in the acquisition of additional businesses to enhance scale, product offerings, and market presence. The ideal candidate will have a tenure of over 20 years, demonstrating a progressive career and a relentless will to win. The focus is on transforming the business into a powerful platform and driving its scale within a 2-3 year period, in line with the investment thesis of the private equity sponsor. The role is pivotal in the company's strategy to expand and evolve, and the chosen leader will play a key part in the company's journey towards a successful exit.
