What would you do as a Prevention Coalition Support Specialist

As a Part Time Prevention Coalition Support Specialist at Alleghany Highlands Community Services in Covington, VA, you will work under the direct oversight of the Prevention Services Supervisor, taking charge of planning, implementing, and evaluating strategies aimed at Coalition capacity building in alignment with the DBHDS performance contract. Your role is pivotal in fostering positive community engagement and youth involvement within the coalition, ensuring that programs addressing substance misuse prevention and mental health promotion are effectively executed. You will collaborate with various community agencies to identify and meet local prevention needs while upholding the highest standards of confidentiality and participant rights.
