Senior International Tax Analyst

The Senior Analyst of International Tax reports to the Director of International Tax & Strategy and will support Shift4's international tax planning objectives (e.g., M&A), income tax reporting (ASC 740), and federal tax compliance obligations. This role would suit an individual looking for exposure to a diverse range of M&A, tax technical, and operational issues in a growth-oriented FinTech business.

This role is onsite 4 days a week at any of the following Shift4 locations : Atlanta, GA / Center Valley PA / Morrisville, NC / Tampa, FL. Relocation assistance may be available.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

• Prepare and review complex calculations such as Pillar 2 top-up taxes, GILTI, BEAT, FDII, Subpart F, foreign tax credit, and E&P calculations.
• Assist with the development and implementation of tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize overall tax efficiency.
• Research and document complex tax technical issues of multifaceted business transactions and their US and foreign international tax impact.
• Manage and monitor the non-US cash income tax budget-to-actual process.
• Manage outside service providers with respect to US and foreign tax compliance deliverables, transfer pricing filings, due diligence, and other tax planning projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Treasury) to ensure accurate and timely completion of tax-related projects.
• Support the preparation and review of tax provisions and disclosures for financial reporting purposes.
• Communicate complex tax matters in a clear and concise manner to non-tax professionals.
