Ordering parts / maintenance materials as needed
Procurement of parts through vendor contacts
Receiving items / parts into the parts room
Maintaining inventory in parts room
Releasing / issuing items / parts and tools from the parts room
Performing administrative tasks related to parts room inventory management
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or its equivalent
3 years prior experience in a parts room environment with parts purchasing knowledge
Knowledge of the parts purchasing and vendor relationships
Knowledge of the parts room in an industrial setting
Be at least 20 years old
Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended periods of time
A valid drivers license and authorization to drive a company vehicle (on or before his or her start date in the position)
Ability to obtain certification and operate powered industrial equipment
Ability to lift a minimum of 65 pounds

Preferred Qualifications
Current Industrial Maintenance associate
Associates degree in Business
5 years of prior experience in an industrial parts room environment with parts purchasing experience
Knowledge of basic accounting principles and statistical data analysis
CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager)
Hours of Work
7 : 00am - 3 : 30pm; Rotating Days of the Week
Work Environment
Temperatures could range from 20 degrees below to 90 degrees Fahrenheit for an extended period of time.

Year End Bonus
To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one weeks pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks pay.
