POSITION SUMMARY :
Ensures that quality echocardiograms are performed on all patients in a timely and accurate manner. Participates in maintaining a safe
diagnostic patient care environment. Performs routine maintenance checks and cleaning of equipment used. Reads and assists
cardiologists with making appropriate diagnoses using accurate patient echocardiographic data.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE :
High school diploma or equivalent with some previous health care employment preferred. Requires two years on-the-job training in
Echocardiography. Echocardiography Registry Exam encouraged. BLS / CPR certification within three months of employment with
yearly re-certification.
Participates in orientation and continuing education and updates and maintains knowledge and skills related to specific areas of
expertise.
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT, SKILLS OR OTHER REQUIREMENTS :
Must possess good communication skills, both oral and written. Reviews and corrects the menus of assigned patients to insure
nutritional adequacy. Must remain well versed in current therapeutic and nutritional concepts.

Pay Range : $19.20-27.85
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location
