Position : Commercial Lender / Business Development

Reports to : Market President

Job Type : Full time position

Summary : Developing new business and fostering relationships with existing customers. Underwriting, analyzing financials, creating customized loan packages, and closing commercial loans. Proudly representing First American Bank in the community.

We provide banking services in New Mexico, El Paso and central Texas for commercial and small business banking customers. We offer innovative products and customer centric services including specialized lending, SBA loans, treasury management, digital banking, and wealth management.

Education : Bachelor's Degree preferred in business administration, marketing, finance or related field

Requirements : Prior experience in a commercial Lending environment

Able to handle the technology and banking software utilized by the bank

Willing to work traditional hours; however, business development may require some evening and weekend events.

Possess strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills

Ability to work independently, attention to detail, accuracy, and to follow-thru

Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
