About the Role :

Central Florida Therapy is seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. This position is ideal for a therapist with a passion for working with children-from infants to adolescents-who have a range of physical impairments and developmental conditions.

Key Responsibilities :

Conduct comprehensive evaluations of pediatric patients to assess physical abilities and limitations

Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans

Deliver hands-on therapy to enhance motor skills, strength, coordination, and balance

Educate and empower parents / caregivers with techniques to support therapy goals at home

Collaborate with occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, physicians, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care

Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and document outcomes accurately

Stay current with developments in pediatric physical therapy and integrate best practices

Qualifications :

Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

Current Florida PT license (required)

Florida Medicaid provider number or eligibility to obtain one

Certification in Pediatric Physical Therapy (preferred)

Experience working with a pediatric population across various diagnoses

Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills

Patient-centered, empathetic approach to care
