Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the business and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity and / or access. Monitor for unusual activity or potential issues within the food and beverage environment and report findings according to site protocols. Maintain detailed and accurate logs of patrols, observations, and any incidents that occur during the shift. Communicate clearly with team members and site management regarding security-related matters and / or emergencies. Support access control procedures to help deter unauthorized entry and / or exit from the premises. Follow all Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines while performing duties at the location. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol - Full Time
As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Medley, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food / Beverage, and more.
As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for staff and visitors. Your presence and routine patrols help to foster a welcoming atmosphere while delivering exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
