Schedule : Monday through Friday. Potential for half day Saturdays Average shift start : 7am Touch freight : loading, strapping and unloading Late model straight trucks : Peterbilt, Freightliner, Kenworth, International Mix of automatic and manual Event triggered dual facing cameras Utilize Samsara ELD where needed Must be at least 21 years of age Must have CDL A license Must have a minimum of 1-year related driving experience with a clean driving record No DUI / DWIs in last 5 years No more than 2 moving violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen Hiring Radius : Drivers must live within 50 miles of Grand Island, NE or be willing to relocate for this position Transportation
Preferred Pump is the leading wholesale distributor of submersible water pumps, vertical turbines, hydraulic pump hoists, and water well equipment. Our products are used by water well contractors for residential, agricultural, commercial, industrial, irrigation, and septic applications.
Compensation
- $22-$23 an hour with an average of 40-50 hours a week
- Overtime pay after 40 hours at time and a half
- Clean Inspection Bonus : $100 per clean inspection
- Paid semi-monthly via direct deposit
