Nocturnist Physician

Healthcare United is seeking a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Nocturnist Physician to join our well-established Healthcare System. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated physician with strong communication skills who is committed to optimizing patient outcomes.

Position Details :

• Support Structure : 2 APPs assist with admissions (approximately 10 per night), ICU coverage, codes, etc.
• Procedures / Lines : Provided by in-house General Surgery residents
• Intubations : Handled by ER / Anesthesia team
• ICU Management : Open ICU, primarily managed by UPMC s renowned Pulm / CC service
• Critical Care Services : In-person during the day, tele-critical care at night
• Tele-Hospitalist Service : Provides cross coverage as needed
• Schedule : 7 on / 7 off, 12-hour shifts
