Verdox is dedicated to reversing climate change through the development and deployment of advanced technology. Our proprietary electro-swing process, developed at MIT, enables carbon dioxide and other acid gasses to be captured with up to 80% less energy and 70% less cost than conventional approaches. We are backed by institutional investors and based in Boston.

This is an opportunity to join a dynamic and highly skilled team. Reporting to the Director of Manufacturing, the Senior Product Development Engineer will lead efforts to create and commercialize groundbreaking products, and serve as a key contributor to the growth of Verdox.

Key Responsibilities

• Mechanical design of complex components and systems, including 3D models, component and assembly drawings
• Conduct design reviews, FMEA and other product development best practices
• Design, build and test prototype systems, support design verification activities
• Manage product and component requirements, ensure quality of incoming materials
• Translate prototype designs into scalable solutions achieving performance & cost targets
• Develop and implement large scale embodiments of Verdox technologies
• Lead hardware development efforts
• Collaborate with Technology Development and other internal and external stakeholders
• Work with Supply Chain to identify and develop new suppliers
• Create Verdox SOPs related to product design and development
• Support field installations of Verdox products
