This role is a key driver in designing and improving workforce training programs that empower participants and meet employer needs. The Manager of Program Design will lead end-to-end program strategy, combining design thinking, labor market insights, and data-driven decision-making to create innovative, scalable, and equitable training models. Working closely with cross-functional teams and external partners, this position ensures programs are responsive to changing workforce trends, effectively implemented, and continuously improved. The role blends creativity, analytical rigor, and strong collaboration skills in a dynamic environment where innovation and impact are highly valued.
The Manager of Program Design will be responsible for :
- Leading the design, launch, and refinement of workforce training programs that are efficient, sustainable, and aligned with organizational mission and labor market needs.
- Applying frameworks such as Human-Centered Design, Design Thinking, and evidence-based decision-making to ensure programs are responsive, equitable, and scalable.
- Integrating employer input, labor market data, and industry trends to ensure programs remain relevant and demand-driven.
- Coordinating with employers, training providers, and community partners to gather feedback and insights to inform program improvements.
- Managing projects, timelines, meetings, and reporting to ensure program milestones are achieved.
- Conducting quality assurance reviews, analyzing program performance, and implementing improvements.
- Developing and maintaining program documentation, tools, and communication materials to support consistency and scalability.
- Translating data insights into actionable recommendations for program development and staff guidance.
