- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care specific to infusion services, ensuring the best possible outcomes.\n
- Monitor patient conditions, document observations, and communicate updates effectively to the healthcare team.\n
- Collaborate with various disciplines to facilitate comprehensive patient care, including discharge and referral processes.\n
- Identify educational needs for patients and families, providing customized training based on their unique circumstances.\n
- Delegate patient care tasks effectively to support staff and mentor new hires and nursing students.\n
- Utilize critical thinking and independent judgment to thrive in a fast-paced environment.\n\nRequirements : \n
- Current RN license and certification in chemotherapy and biotherapy.\n
- ONS chemotherapy / biotherapy certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire.\n
- Minimum education required : Graduation from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.\n
- At least 6 months of practical nursing experience; infusion experience is preferred.\n
