Registered Nurse - Infusion Services

Description\n\nJoin our dynamic team at UCHealth, where you will have the opportunity to provide direct patient care in an outpatient infusion and apheresis setting. This role focuses on optimizing patient outcomes while adhering to the highest standards of nursing practice within our organization's mission and values.\n\nLocation : UCHealth Lone Tree Medical Center, CO, Lone Tree\n\nDepartment : Lone Tree Health Center\n\nFTE : Full Time, 0.9, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)\n\nShift : Days\n\nPay : $33.61 - $52.10 / hour, commensurate with experience\n\nKey Responsibilities : \n

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care specific to infusion services, ensuring the best possible outcomes.\n
• Monitor patient conditions, document observations, and communicate updates effectively to the healthcare team.\n
• Collaborate with various disciplines to facilitate comprehensive patient care, including discharge and referral processes.\n
• Identify educational needs for patients and families, providing customized training based on their unique circumstances.\n
• Delegate patient care tasks effectively to support staff and mentor new hires and nursing students.\n
• Utilize critical thinking and independent judgment to thrive in a fast-paced environment.\n\nRequirements : \n
• Current RN license and certification in chemotherapy and biotherapy.\n
• ONS chemotherapy / biotherapy certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire.\n
• Minimum education required : Graduation from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.\n
• At least 6 months of practical nursing experience; infusion experience is preferred.\n
