The Internal Medicine Physician provides outpatient care, managing and treating patients with a variety of illnesses from January 20 to July 20, 2025. Responsibilities include consulting patients, ordering tests, prescribing treatments, monitoring medication adherence, and collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals. The physician is required to be board-certified and must possess an active CA license, working in a supportive environment with access to advanced medical resources.

Coverage Needed

  • January 20 - July 20, 2025
  • 6 month initial duration

Schedule

  • Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM

    • Clinical Details

  • Outpatient only
  • Call Ratio : Balanced call ratio split between physicians and sites
  • Daily Patient Census : 18 patients per day
  • Equipment / Resources : Access to state-of-the-art equipment and comprehensive resources
  • Primary Responsibilities :

    • Consults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment

  • Recommends and orders tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition
  • Monitors lab results, medication adherence and medication toxicities
  • Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccinations, and other medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury
  • Explain and discuss procedures, test results, or prescribed treatment with the patient
  • Refers patients to medical specialists when necessary
  • Collaborate and manage APPs

    • Requirements

  • Board-certified in Internal Medicine
  • Active CA License
  • Proven experience in a primary care setting

    • Support Staff

  • Collaborative team of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)

    • EMR
