Assembler - 40 hours Temp role at Yamaha Guitar Group
Apply for the Assembler position. This role will be based at our Oxnard office and applicants must live close enough to commute daily.
We are looking for a motivated, highly technical assembler to assist with sanding, assembling / gluing, and inspecting wood products. Precise attention to detail and proficient hand-to-eye coordination / dexterity are required.
This is a 40?hour per week temporary position with an opportunity for conversion based on company needs and performance.
Essential Functions
- Assemble wood components according to blueprints, drawings, or verbal instructions.
- Apply adhesives and clamps to secure joints and ensure proper bonding.
- Smooth surfaces using various sanding techniques and equipment to prepare for finishing.
- Conduct quality control checks to identify and rectify defects.
- Transport materials and finished products within the assembly area.
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals and maintain a positive work environment.
