Medical Physicist

Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related medical physics specialty
- Master's Degree in Medical Physics or a closely related field
- ABR certification or eligibility to obtain certification
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong understanding of radiation safety, treatment planning, and quality assurance procedures
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with advanced radiation therapy technologies
- Prior involvement in clinical research or protocol development
- Familiarity with medical imaging and diagnostic physics
- Certification in additional related areas (e.g., Therapeutic Medical Physics)
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master's Degree in Medical Physics or a closely related discipline
- At least two years of practical experience within a clinical setting
- Active ABR certification or eligibility
Other Requirements:
- No local candidates within 50 miles of the facility
- Full-time schedule: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
- Employment start date: March 30, 2026
- Compensation: $152.33 per hour
- Schedule includes 13-week assignments at the 725A Cancer Center
- Travel, licensure, certification, and other reimbursements provided when applicable
- Licensure and certification renewal compliance required
- Must adhere to all safety and regulatory standards
