Required Skills:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related medical physics specialty
• Master's Degree in Medical Physics or a closely related field
• ABR certification or eligibility to obtain certification
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Strong understanding of radiation safety, treatment planning, and quality assurance procedures
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with advanced radiation therapy technologies
• Prior involvement in clinical research or protocol development
• Familiarity with medical imaging and diagnostic physics
• Certification in additional related areas (e.g., Therapeutic Medical Physics)

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Master's Degree in Medical Physics or a closely related discipline
• At least two years of practical experience within a clinical setting
• Active ABR certification or eligibility

Other Requirements:

• No local candidates within 50 miles of the facility
• Full-time schedule: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
• Employment start date: March 30, 2026
• Compensation: $152.33 per hour
• Schedule includes 13-week assignments at the 725A Cancer Center
• Travel, licensure, certification, and other reimbursements provided when applicable
• Licensure and certification renewal compliance required
• Must adhere to all safety and regulatory standards
