    Job Details :

    We are seeking an experienced Cost Accountant to join our team in a hybrid role that combines the excitement of consulting with the challenge of cost accounting. This unique position will allow you to leverage your expertise in cost analysis, inventory management, and strategic planning within the dynamic Manufacturing industry. You will play a crucial role in driving the financial success of our operations by managing our inventory and cost control processes, and working closely with plant operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your skills and knowledge in a role that contributes directly to our bottom line.

    Responsibilities :

  • Conduct comprehensive inventory analysis to track usage, waste, and other factors that impact cost.
  • Implement effective inventory control strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Utilize ERP systems, particularly Oracle, to manage financial data and generate reports.
  • Perform manufacturing cost analysis to identify areas for potential cost reductions and efficiency improvements.
  • Work closely with plant operations to understand production processes and their impact on costs.
  • Manage cost control processes and provide detailed cost reports to management.
  • Use Microsoft Excel to manage large datasets and perform complex calculations.
  • Maintain the general ledger and ensure all financial data is accurate and up to date.
  • Contribute to business strategy and strategic planning processes to drive financial performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial strategies align with overall business goals.

    • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably within the Manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management and control processes.
  • Proficiency in using ERP systems, particularly Oracle.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to manage large datasets and perform complex calculations.
  • Experience with general ledger maintenance.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a focus on cost analysis and cost management.
  • Ability to work closely with plant operations and understand production processes.
  • Excellent strategic planning and business strategy skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with teams across the organization.
  • CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
