Robert Half Permanent Placement is partnering with a safety and security focused company in Hamburg, NY on their search for a Procurement and Inventory Associate.  This is an in-office role with a starting salary of $50,000 - $60,000 based on experience. This newly created focuses on procurement of parts and managing inventory for a rapidly expanding business. This is a great opportunity for someone to grow their skills with an eye on potential advancement!
Responsibilities include but not limited to :
- Oversee all aspects of corporate inventory management across multiple locations
- Source and negotiate with suppliers, place orders, and track deliveries to ensure timely product availability
- Maintain accurate inventory levels using data and software tools, balancing availability with cost efficiency
- Collaborate with finance, sales, and operations teams to forecast demand and optimize reorder points
- Manage receiving, shipping, and distribution of parts and equipment for warehouse and field operations
- Monitor and analyze inventory data to identify trends, improve purchasing efficiency, and control costs
- Generate purchase orders and manage stock for warehouses, technician vehicles, and service projects
- Produce monthly inventory and usage reports to support accurate planning and replenishment
- Ability and willingness to work in-office in Hamburg 7 : 30 AM – 5 PM with 1 hour lunch break
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across departments
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple projects and performing accurate data and pricing analyses
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and QuickBooks for reporting and record management
- Valid driver’s license with ability to travel to various locations; able to lift up to 50 lbs
