We are looking for a Production Associate to join our team. As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for reviewing Manufacturing Orders, inspecting parts and materials, implementing best practices in manufacturing processes, and preparing orders for shipping.

The pay for this role is $18.50 per hour, with a shift differential of $1.25 per hour for 2nd shift and $1.75 per hour for 3rd shift. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends, and a rotation of 6AM-4PM and 4PM-2AM every other week.

Job Summary

As a Production Associate, you will support manufacturing processes by completing tasks such as reviewing Manufacturing Orders, inspecting parts and materials, and preparing orders for shipping. You will be expected to work efficiently, inspect products for quality, and ensure that orders are accurate and meet customer expectations.

Primary Job Responsibilities

Inspect product to ensure quality and pack finished goods to ensure order accuracy and meet customer expectations

Examine product for defects and report issues immediately for correction

Ensure that the proper supplies are being used for packaging

Read, understand, and follow Manufacturing Orders to ensure orders are printed according to specifications

Package product for shipping, ensuring that only products meeting quality standards are packed to ship to customers

Complete reporting and necessary daily paperwork as instructed

Assist with preventive maintenance duties or changeover duties, such as daily cleaning and lubricating

Perform duties safely and in accordance with company safety policies

Perform other duties as assigned or requested by supervisor / management

Minimum Qualifications

Reading, writing, and math skills equivalent to that identified by a High School Diploma or GED

Maintain inventory storage in a clean, orderly manner

Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills

Ability to professionally communicate and work with others

Ability to reach, bend, twist, grasp, and stand for long periods of time

Ability to lift up to 40-45 pounds frequently and assist in team lifts at a higher weight

Ability to work rotating shifts (including weekend shifts) as required
