Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Labor and Delivery Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 30 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional nursing care in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards. Responsibilities include : Patient Care : Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care. Provide therapy and treatments that support and restore patient health and well-being, either directly or through delegation, supervision, or education of others. Health Assessment & Education : Collect and analyze patient health data; provide health teaching and counseling as appropriate. Medical Functions : Perform delegated medical tasks and refer patients for additional evaluation or treatment when needed. Monitor and review therapy and treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes. Documentation & Compliance : Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards. Use resources efficiently and responsibly. Professional Standards : Uphold SCL Health’s mission, vision, and values, adhering to established service behavior standards. Flexibility & Support : May float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications, or be placed on-call during scheduled shifts as business needs require.
