Job Overview :

Responsible for the administrative and clinical oversight of the nursing care functions in the medical practices for children with special needs and medical complexity with assistance from the Director as needed. Works collaboratively with the Director of Outpatient Operations to ensure best practice standards and clinical development of department / staff. Upholds the Service Excellence Standards and values of the organization to lead department / staff. Exemplifies these values in every interaction with patients, families, staff, and colleagues both internal and external. Assures the medical practice(s) adheres to policies and procedures and regulations of JCAHO, DOH, Licensing bodies, OSHA, and other regulatory bodies.

Qualifications : Required :

• BSN from accredited program
• NJ RN License
• AHA BLS Provider Certification
• 3-5 years nursing experience
• Demonstrates clinical excellence and leadership ability
• Evidence of good time management skills and the ability to make effective decisions
• Maintains a positive attitude and has excellent communication skills
• Ability to influence, guide and motivate staff
• Demonstrates tact, initiative and judgment in performance of duties
• Flexibility both in work hours and performance of duties
• Physical stamina to lift, maneuver patients and equipment
