Travel Nursing Job Details

Location : Little Rock, AR 72202 (Arkansas nursing jobs)

Unit : Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)

Position : CVOR Registered Nurse (Travel Assignment)

Assignment Type : Travel Nursing

Start Date : November 17, 2025

End Date : February 15, 2026

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12-hour nights (36 hours / week)

Schedule : Manager / scheduler driven; every other weekend required; holidays as needed

Floating : Required within ICU cluster (NICU, PICU, Burn PICU)

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2410 - $2580

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of RN experience, including at least 1 year in Pediatric Cardiovascular and 1 year in Adult Cardiovascular, or 2+ years in Pediatric / Adult CV

At least 1 prior travel nursing assignment

Active Arkansas or Compact State RN License (Registered Nurse License)

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS (must be current prior to start)

Experience with EPIC EMR required

Must pass nicotine and fit tests (no facial hair unless for religious reasons)

Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)

ECMO experience preferred

CVOR RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with congenital heart defects, heart failure, cardiac transplant, dysrhythmias, and other cardiac conditions

Manage advanced cardiac support devices (VAD, Impella, intracardiac lines)

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams including intensivists, CNAs, PCTs, respiratory therapists, and code team

Float to other ICU units as needed (NICU, PICU, Burn PICU)

Follow strict unit policies, including timely medication waste and dress code

Participate in 2-3 days of orientation and specialty testing

Utilize EPIC EMR and Pyxis medication system

Support patient and family education in partnership with Child Life & Education specialists
