Police Chief

The City of Walnut Grove is seeking candidates for the Police Chief position.

Walnut Grove, a city with a population of approximately 750 residents, is seeking self-motivated and community service-oriented police chief candidates who possess excellent and professional interpersonal skills. Candidates shall be Minnesota P.O.S.T. licensed or Minnesota P.O.S.T. licensing / Reciprocity eligible. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to pass an Oral Interview, Background Investigation, Psychological and Physical Exams. General responsibilities include traffic, patrol and general law enforcement investigations, community relations, record-keeping and report writing.
