Major / Essential Functions

• Answer phones, return voicemails, greet walk-ins, reply to emails, send & follow up on room contracts. Collect payments following University guidelines on handling credit cards, cash, and checks.
• Maintain the reservation books, door signs, weekly reports. Be comfortable with software programs needed to complete essential job functions. AV, learn and operate sound & video systems, laptops, and other required equipment.
• Interact with set-up team to ensure they have the correct details, help with set-ups, preparing with clean event space when required. Operate within our team to make the best events for our clients using a sales attitude and working efficiently.
• Greet customers, answer questions, give tours, meet with clients to plan event details, and document. Help in operations at Hance Chapel will sit in on memorial events, weddings, lectures, etc.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree plus one year related experience; OR a combination of education and / or related experience equal to five years.

Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan.
