LocumJobsOnline is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Hematology and Oncology MD in South Carolina!

About The Position

We are actively seeking a Board-Certified Hematology / Oncology Physician to join our dedicated cancer care team.

Schedule : M-F 8 : 30a-4 : 30p

Position Overview :

Setting : Free-standing, comprehensive Cancer Care Center

Coverage Need : Due to loss of provider

Practice Type : Outpatient and Inpatient Oncology

Location : Bon Secours – St. Francis Cancer Care Center, South Carolina

📋 Assignment Details :

Coverage Dates : Starting November 1, 2025, ongoing (perm option available)

Schedule : Monday–Friday; no call during locum period

Call (Permanent Only) : 1 week every 6–8 weeks

Average Outpatient Census : 25 patients / day

Average Inpatient Census (Rounding / Call) : 20 patients / day

Patient Population : Adult and Geriatric

Clinical Focus :

65% Benign Hematology

35% Malignant Oncology

0% Internal Medicine

Team Structure : Physicians

Advanced Practice Providers

EMR : EPIC

Trauma Level : N / A

🔧 Responsibilities Include :

Tumor Board Participation

Management of Bone Marrow Transplants

Blood Bank Coordination

Ordering Tests & Imaging

Prescribing Treatment Plans

Chemotherapy Administered by Nurse Oncologists

Job Requirements

Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology

Active SC license (will accept providers needing to obtain a state license)
