Ideal Candidate :
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent. Boarded or residency-trained specialists are preferred.
- Active veterinary license in the state of TN is preferred, but not required, licensure fees will be covered.
- Ideally, 5+ years of ER Veterinary Medicine practice experience.
- Prior Medical Director experience.
- Currently holds federal DEA licenses or eligible to obtain upon hire.
- Proficiency in internal medicine, diagnostics, surgery and emergency care.
- Passionate about building and fostering a strong team.
- Positive and effective leadership.
- Ability to manage staff and outcomes with emotional intelligence.
- Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.
- Delegation of tasks and achieving results with practice team members.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
