Psychiatry Opportunity EMPLOYED Position - Just Minutes Outside of Charlotte, NC

Medical Center near Charlotte, NC is seeking a Psychiatrist to join an Adult Psychiatry / Geri-Psych practice. We have a 16 Bed Adult Psychiatric Unit and a 12 Bed Geriatric Psychiatric Unit. Medical Center also has the new 14-bed dual diagnoses unit.

Inpatient Only

This is the only inpatient Behavioral Health program within Iredell County. The new Psychiatrist will be walking into an active program.

42 beds : 16 bed acute adult, 12 bed geriatric, 14 bed acute adult / geriatric overflow, serving patients 18+

Join 1 FT Psychiatrist & 2 FT Nurse Practitioners

All full-time providers are expected to participate in the call rotation and assist the emergency and medical departments with consults.

Call is typically one week each month and some weekend coverage.

Full support staff : BH Medical Director, Director, Nurse Manager, Intake Coordination, Utilization Review, Nursing, Social Work, Recreation Therapy
