TA Test

Required Qualifications
Candidates must have an earned Ph.D. D.B.A or be ABD from an internationally accredited institution in Information Systems Computer Information Systems Management Information Systems Business Information Systems Information Technology Cybersecurity Computer Science Computer Engineering or a closely related field. ABD candidates are expected to successfully defend their dissertation by the date of hire. Candidates must be able to meet the AACSB Scholarly Academics qualifications required by the McCoy College of Business at Texas State University. Candidates must possess practical professional experience in the areas of business information systems security cybersecurity or cybersecurity analytics.

Preferred Qualifications
Evidence of effective teaching information security cybersecurity or cybersecurity analytics courses at the undergraduate level in college. Experience in teaching information security cybersecurity or cybersecurity analytics at graduate college level. Industry/business consulting experience in computer networking information security or networking/security analytics. Earned or anticipated Ph.D. degree from an AACSB accredited business school with a focus related to business information system security cybersecurity cybersecurity analytics. Evidence of effective teaching online hybrid or face-to-face courses. Track record/potential for publications in peer-reviewed journals.
