SVP, Wholesale Distribution Leader

The SVP, Wholesale Distribution Leader is responsible for leading the execution of regional business development priorities and growth of new and existing producer relationships. The successful candidate will align Arch Insurance specialty solutions with distribution partners and channels, while developing trusting / collaborative relationships with internal and external customers to deliver Arch's value proposition.
This position is directly accountable for the following responsibilities :
- Lead national and BU specific strategies and priorities with our key wholesale distribution partners.
- Lead the regional Business Development Team and ensure execution of BU specific plans in the regions.
- Cultivate new and develop existing strategic relationships with key strategic wholesale distribution leaders to identify growth opportunities for Arch.
- Utilize market knowledge, and internal / external data sources to consultatively identify promising new opportunities for products / panels / programs; assess market dislocation, identify unmet market needs, and lead prospect opportunities with the broader team.
- Oversee the team's regional broker engagement plans and priorities, and measure results on a monthly basis.
- Drive governance engagement with Arch's strategic wholesale distribution partners - meet with broker counterparts and leadership quarterly to evaluate progress.
- Ensure Business Development Leaders are collaborating with regional underwriters to support and own local marketing events to increase visibility and expand the Arch brand.
- Act as a change champion for digitalization efforts and tools to streamline processes and execution of BU priorities, improve responsiveness, and increase transparency in relevant activities.
- Organize, attend, speak and present at industry association meetings with sponsor solutions groups; identify thought leadership opportunities for Arch regionally; act as a prominent, contributing member to maintain and expand a large professional network, gain industry / market exposure and to positively represent Arch.
- Lead the ongoing implementation of Arch's cultural value proposition throughout the region by leveraging data analytics and insights.
- Encourage and support the Wholesale Business Development Team's involvement in local networking / professional association events.

Proficient in MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and ExcelProven expertise with Power BI tools to create and present actionable reports and dashboards that track key performance indicators (KPIs).Required education / experience :
15+ years in P&C sales, broking, underwriting, or marketing managementTravel requirement 30-40%Experience managing wholesale distribution channelsSuccessful experience developing and implementing growth strategiesB.A. / B.S. preferredThe base salary range is $210,000 - $283,000 / year. Total individual compensation (base salary, short & long-term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs. The above pay range may be modified in the future.
