Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field, active Deaf & Hard of Hearing (DHH) certification, and 1+ years Deaf & Hard of Hearing Specialist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for an experienced elementary teacher specializing in Deaf and Hard of Hearing education. This position is a contract role for the Extended School Year program, running from ASAP through August 15th. The role is located in an elementary school setting and offers flexibility in scheduling.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt lessons to meet diverse learner needs.
• Collaborate with support staff to enhance student learning outes.
• Monitor student progress and provide regular updates to the education team.
