Take-Off Engineer / Estimator

San Jose, CA,

Responsibilities

• Review architectural drawings, specifications, and project documents to prepare accurate demolition take-offs.
• Quantify materials, labor, and equipment requirements for bids.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals for commercial and residential demolition projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and field supervisors to align estimates with project scope.
• Attend site walks and pre-bid meetings to assess project conditions and requirements.
• Maintain updated records of bids, pricing, and  subcontractor / vendor  costs.
• Support project hand-off to operations team to ensure accurate budgeting and job costing.
