Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Warehouse Associate for our client. This job involves preparing and organizing customer orders by scanning, picking, and packing inventory for outbound delivery while maintaining accuracy and quality standards. You’ll receive and process incoming deliveries, handle stock counts, replenish inventory, and operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
What’s a Typical Day Like?
- Picks daily customer orders by scanning bins and moving inventory onto trolleys
- Packs orders for outbound delivery while fulfilling all quality standards.
- Receives incoming deliveries of inventory, consolidates outbound orders and processes returns.
- Manages stock counts which includes regular inventory checks and stock replenishments.
- Meets and exceeds reasonable performance goals for the role.
- Follows guidance of the Warehouse Manager and team leads.
What Are the Requirements of the Job?
Ability to lift, push or pull boxes / merchandise weighing up to 100 pounds.Detail oriented and proven problem-solving skills.Demonstrated ability to use good judgement.Able to listen to verbal instructions.Ability to recognize process improvement opportunities and make recommendations.Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills.Must be a team player. This is a group effort and teamwork are a big part of our success as a company.Furniture product knowledge desired.Warehouse and distribution experience is preferred.Prior experience operating material handling equipment such as forklift, pallet jack, and dollies.Physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Work requires physical effort and use of motor skills requiring manual dexterity.While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, push / pull or balance merchandise up to 100 pounds.With mechanical assistance, employee will occasionally move up to 300 pounds.Regularly operate warehouse equipment that requires manual dexterity and use of lightweight tools requiring some coordinated movements.Activities include using a forklift or pallet jack to move furniture and use lightweight tools to assemble furnitureAble to move and lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.Able to withstand temperatures in a typical warehouse environment.Position may require climbing of ladders.Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance, depth perception, and peripheral vision.Why Choose Kable Workforce Solutions?
