CD&A - Associate Director, Marketing Investment Optimization

Amgen is seeking an Analytics lead within the Decision Sciences team of Commercial Data and Analytics (CD&A). The role focuses on understanding customer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape, and making data-driven investment decisions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize marketing spend and drive ROI, and develop predictive and prescriptive models to deliver insights across the US Commercial Organization.

What You Will Do

• Partner with cross-functional teams on projects to derive insights that drive substantial business value for Amgen and patients.
• Oversee building high-performance algorithms, prototypes, predictive models, and proof-of-concepts using Python or R.
• Identify business needs and propose and execute analytical approaches.
• Communicate analysis ideas, progress, and results to leadership and business partners.
• Be accountable for measurement of spend efficiency and for recommendations on optimization of future spend across brands, tactics, channels, and audience types.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Media, Finance and other CD&A teams to create marketing budgets and monitor spending to maximize ROI.
• Work closely with marketing and finance teams to analyze the financial impact of marketing initiatives.
