As the EM residency program director, you will play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of EM physicians and ensuring the highest standards of education and patient care. About the Emergency Department : 94-bed ED Annual ED visits : 100,000 Daily APC coverage EMR : Cerner FirstNet Comprehensive Stroke Center Dedicated Pediatric ED 1.7 - 2.1 patients per hour Academic Affiliation : Yes, EM residents The ED team is organized into pods based on acuity, allowing for a smooth workflow and efficient patient care. Our physicians work closely with nursing staff, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to provide compassionate care in a fast-paced environment .
