South Springs Dental Group is an established family dental practice located in the SW Colorado Springs area near Fort Carson. We are looking for a reliable Expanded Duty Dental Assistant (EDDA) to join our team full-time. We are a patient-centric practice led by a fantastic doctor that is down-to-earth and fun to be around. Schedule : Monday-Thursday 7 : 45am-5 : 15pm

Rate : $23-$27 / hr, plus daily bonus opportunities

Responsibilities :

• Provide outstanding customer service with an excellent chairside manner
• Be conscious of the doctor's schedule and assist with efficient patient workflow
• Assist office and doctor in maintaining patient records and informed consent documents
• Assist dentist in utilizing proper four-handed dentistry techniques, observing universal precautions
• Maintain patient comfort before, during, and after dental procedures
• Chart existing dentistry and current conditions in a computerized dental chart
• Capture diagnostic digital radiographs as ordered by the dentist
• Take impressions and assist with lab tasks as needed
• Maintain dental operatories keeping them organized and clean, assuring appropriate instruments and supplies are available
• Sterilize instruments, handpieces, and ancillary equipment
• Comply with office policies and procedures
• Assume the standard of care related to infection control; all OSHA guidelines & safety are upheld at the station they are assigned
