Radiologic Technologist (Kankakee)

The Radiologic Technologist (Immediate Care) at Riverside Kankakee Immediate Care in Kankakee, Illinois, is responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic procedures and providing essential support in occupational health services. This role requires the application of ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes and the ability to perform a variety of diagnostic imaging techniques to produce accurate images for interpretation by a Radiologist. The individual will also assist with patient care, including processing patients for injury treatment, physical assessments, and conducting ancillary screenings as required by occupational health protocols. This position operates under indirect supervision and requires a strong focus on teamwork and patient satisfaction. Demonstrates flexibility with assignments within professional scope / duties / licensure.

FTE & Shift : 1.0 FTE (Full-Time)

• M-F | Three 12-hour shifts | M-F | 8 : 00A - 8 : 30P
• Rotating Weekends | 8 : 00A - 6 : 30P
• Rotating Holidays | 9 : 00A - 1 : 00P
• Closed Christmas & Easter

Shift Differential : $3.51 differential per hour when scheduled and work at least five (5) consecutive hours (including scheduled unpaid meal breaks) between 3 : 00 p.m. and 7 : 30 a.m.

Describe and explain the lifting and carrying requirements. (Example : the distance material is carried; how high material is lifted, etc.) : Life film cassettes from knee / shoulder height to table height, carry film cassettes to darkroom 10 feet in distance; assist patient on and off x-ray table; put babies on scale, walk from room to scale in hall then back to room, stock rooms with supplies; carry from ed room to patient rooms. Place supplies in cabinets, move chairs and boxes.
