Job description

We are seeking a Family Practice Physician with pediatric experience for a 21-day locum tenens assignment in Indiana. This opportunity starts on Oct 15, 2025, and provides vacation coverage with day shifts between 10am-3pm or 11am-4pm. The physician will see patients from newborns to age 18, focusing on acute and wellness care.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide care for acute pediatric cases such as cold, cough, flu, and COVID
  • Conduct diagnostic tests including RSV and strep testing
  • Perform wellness exams, sick visits, and weight checks for newborns and children
  • Manage neonatal cases and conduct newborn well visits
  • Be available for occasional after-hours patient communication via Spruce platform

    • Additional Information

  • Must hold an active Indiana medical license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Experience and comfort in seeing patients from newborn to 18 years old
  • Newborn follow-ups will be scheduled with the returning medical director
