Safety Assistant (On-site)

Main Sail is seeking 7 temporary employees to support BWXT operations in Mt. Vernon, Indiana. These individuals will serve as Safety Assistants and perform ancillary support duties. No prior experience is required, and on-the-job training will be provided.

BWXT is a leading supplier of nuclear components and fuel to the U.S. government; provides technical, management, and site services to support governments in the operation of complex facilities and environmental remediation activities; and supplies precision-manufactured components and services for the commercial nuclear power industry.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and serve as confined space attendants, ensuring personnel safety within designated areas.
• Perform general support and housekeeping duties as needed.
• Retrieve and transport tools, equipment, and supplies from the tool crib.
• Adhere to all safety procedures, policies, and site requirements.
