HVAC Technician

Join our client’s team as an  HVAC Technician  in southern Indiana / northern Kentucky .

Key Responsibilities :

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC and refrigeration systems, including chillers, freezers, and air handling units.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and reduce downtime.
• Monitor and adjust systems to maintain proper temperatures and humidity in production, storage, and office areas.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control system issues.
• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure environmental conditions meet food safety standards (HACCP, USDA, FDA).
• Respond promptly to breakdowns, especially in temperature-critical areas, to minimize production impact.
• Adhere to lockout / tagout (LOTO) and other safety protocols while performing maintenance work.
• Assist in evaluating and recommending upgrades or replacements for HVAC / R equipment.
• Maintain compliance with EPA regulations regarding refrigerant handling and disposal.
• Support continuous improvement efforts to increase system efficiency and reduce energy usage.
