  • Litigation Associate Attorney
  • with 2-8 years’ experience. Our litigation group handles a wide range of disputes, including complex commercial litigation, construction litigation, employment litigation, contract disputes, and lender / creditor litigation.

  • Qualifications and Experience :
  • While we recognize that candidates’ experiences will vary depending on the number of years they have been in practice, ideal candidates will have the following types of skills and experiences.

  • 1. Experience :
  • Admitted to practice law in Colorado or ability to become licensed in Colorado
  • Minimum of 2-8 years of experience in commercial litigation and / or employment litigation.
  • Proven track record of handling business litigation cases from inception to resolution.
  • Employment law experience or an interest in employment law.
  • 2. Litigation Skills :
  • Demonstrated proficiency in legal research, writing, and analysis.
  • Experience drafting and arguing motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.
  • Deposition experience—taking, defending, and preparing.
  • Court experience—including arguing motions and discovery disputes
  • Trial experience.
  • Ability to develop case strategy
  • Ability to communicate persuasively and effectively with colleagues, opposing counsel, and judges
  • 3. Client Interaction :
  • Ability to independently manage client relationships, communications, and expectations.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex legal concepts to clients in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Experience advising clients on litigation strategy and potential outcomes.
  • Experience interviewing witnesses
  • Experience working closely with in-house corporate counsel & awareness of how to handle and manage expectations and minimize disruption to a client’s business
  • 4. Team Collaboration :
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team of attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to handle a diverse caseload efficiently.
  • Independent, motivated, and a self-starter who works well with a team but can operate without oversight
  • 5. Professional Development :
  • Commitment to continuous professional development through legal education, seminars, and staying up to date on legal developments.
  • Interest in contributing to firm marketing efforts, such as presentations, joining organizations, and volunteer work
  • Interest in and ability to generate clients or maintain and increase an existing book of business.
  • Compensation and Benefits
  • Base salary of $125,000 to $225,000 depending on experience
  • Eligibility for year-end merit bonus
