Database Administrator

Job Duties :

• Plan and implement security measures to safeguard the company's electronic information.
• Modify and test changes to the company's existing databases and database management systems.
• Identify and evaluate industry trends in database systems to advise upper management regarding new systems to support the company's remodeling services.
• Specify users and user access levels for each segment of the database.
• Plan and install upgrades of database management system software to enhance database performance.
• Develop standards and guidelines for the use and acquisition of software to reduce operational costs for remodeling projects.
• Plan and supervise the installation and testing of new products and improvements to the company's computer systems.

Requirements :

Position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Big Data Analytics, or a closely related field. Position also requires at least 6 months of experience in the job offered or in the alternate occupation of Technical Support Specialist. The required experience must have been gained in a company that is engaged in providing remodeling or construction services.
