Job Summary
The Manufacturing Technician I operates, monitors, and troubleshoots complex production equipment to ensure consistent output that meets quality, efficiency, and safety standards. This role collaborates with engineering, quality, and production teams to support the manufacturing of precision medical technology components.
The ideal candidate demonstrates attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to follow written procedures while supporting continuous improvement initiatives within a regulated production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot complex manufacturing equipment to meet production goals.
Collaborate with engineers for set-up, calibration, and rework of systems and components.
Conduct quality testing and data collection for parts, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
Ensure adherence to Quality Standards and report non-conformances promptly.
Execute processes using standard operating procedures (SOPs) and follow all safety protocols.
Participate in root cause investigations using troubleshooting tools.
Maintain compliance with 5S practices and promote a clean, safe workspace.
Complete all training requirements and maintain accurate training documentation.
Perform Oracle transactions for inventory management and production tracking.
Support daily improvement processes and assist with workflow optimization initiatives.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance and flexibility for overtime as needed.
Physical Demands
Standing, walking, reaching, and kneeling during operations.
Lifting or moving objects up to 40 lbs.
Exposure to mechanical parts, vibration, moderate noise, and hazardous materials such as isopropyl alcohol, acetone, or metals (PPE provided).
Work in clean room, controlled, or dark room environments with possible exposure to high voltage electronics or radiation.
Required Education
High School Diploma or GED required.
An associate degree in a technical or physical science field is preferred.
Required Experience
0–1 year of manufacturing, production, or equipment operation experience.
Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive) required.
