Occupational Therapist – LTC / SNF - Travel Position

Location : Paris, TN

Job Type : Travel Contract

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 5x8s Days

Pay : $2,005 / week

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join a skilled nursing and long-term care facility in Paris, TN, on a travel contract. The Occupational Therapist will assess residents, create individualized treatment plans, and provide therapy services designed to improve daily living skills, mobility, and independence. The ideal candidate is patient-centered, detail-oriented, and experienced in geriatric rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess functional abilities, cognitive skills, and therapy needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with physicians and interdisciplinary staff.
• Provide therapeutic interventions focused on self-care, fine motor skills, and safe mobility.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy goals, safety practices, and adaptive equipment use.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and outcomes accurately and in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with nursing and therapy staff to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
• Promote independence, safety, and quality of life through evidence-based therapy practices.
