Job Description

Danfoss Power Solutions (DPS) is looking for a Senior Manufacturing Cost Reduction Specialist (Navigator) to lead projects in the Americas region (mainly USA and Mexico) focusing on Indirect Cost optimization across factories. You will lead initiatives to improve contribution margins by reducing the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) within Indirect Costs (MRO, Transport & Logistics, Packaging, Energy & Utilities).

This position is remote, requiring flexibility and approximately 60% travel. When not traveling, you may work from home or one of our offices.

You will collaborate with stakeholders within Procurement, Freight Management, Logistics, and suppliers in a multicultural environment. Your projects will drive change management initiatives aimed at reducing Indirect Costs in our factories. Danfoss operates over 61 factories worldwide.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional projects to identify and implement Indirect Cost savings.
  • Secure stakeholder buy-in, analyze data, define project scope, and assemble project teams.
  • Prepare business cases and tactical implementation plans.
  • Drive Performance Management to ensure timely project execution, report progress, and implement corrective actions.
  • Promote a culture of sustainable change and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with manufacturing and supply chain leaders to foster high performance, safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements.
  • Share best practices and align with Danfoss standards globally.

Qualifications include :

  • Minimum 7 years in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Continuous Improvement, preferably in manufacturing or consulting.
  • Experience in implementing cost-reduction change projects.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, project management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work across cultures and fluency in English.
