Overview
The Radiology Technologist takes X-ray pictures that doctors need to help find out about different health problems. This job requires following doctors' instructions closely, getting the X-ray machines ready, positioning patients properly, and taking clear and accurate pictures for diagnosis.
Responsibilities
- Follow physicians instructions and safety protocols.
- Prepare X-ray machines and equipment for imaging procedures.
- Position patients correctly to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Capture clear and accurate X-ray images for diagnosis.
Qualifications
Education : Must have completed a recognized program in Radiologic Technology.Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities : At least 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a hospital.Licensure and Certification : Must be ARRT Registered Radiology Technologist.Certification : BLS Certification.Certification Requirements
