Job Overview :
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, finance, and related processes, with excellent organizational skills and a high level of accuracy.
This role is responsible for managing a variety of accounting tasks, including financial reporting, reconciliations, allocations, ad-hoc support and driving process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency.
Your Responsibilities :
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for management review. Respond to ad hoc requests from management
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and intercompany variance resolution.
- Oversee and guide the outsourced AR team through invoicing, collections, discrepancy resolution, and customer communications.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules with variance explanations.
- Conduct variance analysis to compare actual financial results against budgets and forecasts and provide explanations for key variances.
- Identify and implement process improvements to ensure work is being completed accurately, efficiently and effectively.
- Leverage accounting software and reports to track and manage financial data, ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliation to ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and promptly.
- Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Build relationships by providing assistance and guidance to internal customers and identify areas to drive efficiencies.
- Prepare workbooks as needed for tax, audit and other company reporting requirements. Act as a point of contact if needed.
- Assist the Finance Team on ad hoc financial analysis requests
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
5+ years of proven experience in accounting or finance roles.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or relevant certification is a plus).Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel – Pivot tables, Lookups, etc. & familiarity with ERP systems is requiredDemonstrate adaptability and a commitment to continuous professional development.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.In-depth knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)Preferred : Audit experience, supervisory experience and large company backgroundWhat We Offer :
