Responsibilities Position is in diagnostic radiology within an acute care hospital Covers both inpatient and outpatient populations, including ER and OR Level II trauma environment with fast-paced workflow 12 hour evening shifts, typical hours are 12 : 00 PM to 12 : 30 AM Shifts may vary (8, 10, or 12 hours) and include weekends and holidays as needed Use of Cerner EMR and Philips iPatient 64 and big bore 16 scanners C-arm use required in the OR 1–2 shift floor-specific orientation provided Radiologist is in-house until 6 PM, then on-call afterward Duties include diagnostic radiology procedures in ER, OR, inpatient, and outpatient settings Will work with a well-staffed radiology team; night shifts may require more independence Scrub color is teal, with hospital-provided scrubs for OR cases First-time travelers will be considered Candidates expected to work holidays if needed Level II trauma experience is preferred but not required Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist Must have CT experience BLS, ARRT (R), and Fluoroscopy certifications required Active CA Radiologic Technologist license required; license required if applicable Rad Tech II applicants must have CT experience Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, Level II trauma environment Self-starter with the ability to work independently Driver’s license required for consideration Two professional references : one supervisor from the past 12 months and one peer or supervisor from the past 3 years Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-638169.
