Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Burlington, VT

Seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform both clinical and research nuclear medicine testing and therapeutic procedures including general studies, cardiac studies, and the computer interactions associated with these studies.

Performs clinical instruction for nuclear medicine students and other personnel as needed.

Contributes to the development of policies, procedures, standards and objectives, and quality assurance needs for the provision of Nuclear Medicine services.

Using state-of-the-art equipment, the Nuclear Medicine Team provides cutting edge, top tier, diagnostic, and therapeutic services. Team is not just a team, we are family. Come work with a supportive and collaborative team, all while developing unique skills and expanding your knowledge.

Equipment utilized includes 2 Philips digital PET / CT scanners, a GE Starguide SPECT / CT, a GE SPECT / CT, and more. We have Epic EMR and a Visage PACS system.

Hours - Monday - Friday 9am-530pm, no weekends except call coverage

Is required to take rotating call coverage, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

More details - Call will be every 12 days. It will be 24 hours if it falls on a weekend (example - 7a Saturday through 7a Sunday) OR 14 hours if it falls on a weeknight (5p-7a). You will receive call pay for carrying a pager and overtime and shift differentials if called in.

Must-Haves

Graduate of an accredited program in Nuclear Medicine. Associates or Baccalaureate Degree in Nuclear Medicine is required.

Active ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology or active NMTCB (CNMT) certification.

Vermont Nuclear Medicine Technologist license or eligibility to obtain state license.

Nice-To-Haves

Epic EMR experience

PET / CT experience

Level I trauma center experience, one year of paid nuclear medicine technologist experience.

Salary negotiable based on experience, full benefits package plus a hiring bonus of $10,000-$15,000 depending on experience when hired into a full-time position and from a distance that is greater than 50 miles from their previous role and home, are eligible for relocation assistance.
