LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse (32 Hours Weekly) - Elder Care Program

Job Description : Seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to support Essentia Health's Elder Care Program at our Osgood Clinic in Fargo, North Dakota. This LPN works 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, with one weekday off. No weekend, holiday, or on-call rotations are required. Prior Elder Care experience or experience with a geriatric population is preferred for this position.

Education Qualifications : Education as required for licensure.

What You'll Do : Assists RN, Physician and other providers and provides direct patient care in the ambulatory care setting to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Essentia Health.

Will

perform identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated.

Cares for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted on age-related category.

Licensure / Certification Qualifications :

Valid North Dakota state license to practice practical nursing. Minnesota LPN license required within 3 months of hire. AHA Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 3 months of hire.
