Job descriptionSupervise and coordinate activities of staff during shifts to ensure operational efficiency. Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV, to maintain safety and security protocols. Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and ensure compliance with company policies. Handle conflict management situations effectively, ensuring resolution while maintaining a professional demeanor. Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify potential safety hazards. Provide training and support to staff on emergency procedures, including CPR and First Aid protocols. Maintain accurate records of incidents, staff performance, and shift activities for reporting purposes. Valid NY Security Guard License F01 Fireguard S60 License A minimum of two (2) year work history in a security supervisory role Provide friendly and exceptional customer service for the business Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to write accurate and concise reports for team members and supervisors Ability to handle stressful situations and make sound judgement calmly and effectively Experience in scheduling, security operations, and other functions of the security industry are a plus. Associate's Degree, or its equivalent, or related prior experience in the corporate security industry and / or military is preferred. Shift Supervisor
